The purpose is to encourage more doctoral students to complete part or all of their doctoral education abroad in an MSCA Innovative Training Network (ITN) and to prompt more experienced researchers at the post-doctoral level to conduct a research stay abroad for a specified period in connection with an MSCA Individual Fellowship. This will enable fellowship-holders to enhance their career development, foster their independence, and lay the foundation for an international network.
