The Department of Oral Biology is located at the Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Gaustad but is attached to the Faculty of Dentistry and conducts research in the following areas: anatomy, physiology, cell biology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology and immunology in addition to teaching subjects in preclinical basic science and odontology.
The Department has just over 60 employees in academic, postdoctoral, doctoral, technical and administrative positions
