About the Call for Applications
The purpose of the call is to promote cancer research. The Foundation awards funds to host a lecture by a highly qualified international expert in conjunction with a seminar for cancer researchers in Norway. The lecture must be announced as the "Dentist Olaf Aase and Mrs. Aase Memorial Lecture."
Legal entities and researchers affiliated with Norwegian research institutions are welcome to apply.
Applications are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to cancer
- Relevance to research
- The speaker's expertise and standing
- Academic content and topic of the lecture
- Scale of the event
- Invited participants
- How the event is (or will be) advertised
When covering travel expenses, the budget should primarily be based on economy/low-cost fares. A more expensive travel option may be selected in exceptional cases.
The total amount requested cannot exceed NOK 50,000.
