Emenike R. K. Eribe og Ingar Olsen har publisert artikkelen "Leptotrichia species in human infections II" ” i Journal of Oral Microbiology.

Roger Junges, Gabriela Salvadori, Sudhanshu Shekhar, Heidi Åmdal og Fernanda Petersen har publisert artikkelen “A Quorum-Sensing System That Regulates Streptococcus pneumoniae Biofilm Formation and Surface Polysaccharide Production” i mSphere, ett tidsskrift fra American Society for Microbiology.

Lise Lund Håheim, Kjersti S. Rønningen, Morten Enersen, og Ingar Olsen har publisert artikkelen "The Predictive Role of Tooth Extractions, Oral Infections, and hs-C-Reactive Protein for Mortality in Individuals with and without Diabetes: A Prospective Cohort Study of a 12 1/2-Year Follow-Up" i Journal of Diabetes Research.

Oversiktsartikkelen Periodontitis, pathogenesis and progression: miRNA-mediated cellular responses to Porphyromonas gingivalis, forfattet av Ingar Olsen, Sim K Singhrao og Harald Osmundsen kan leses i Journal of Oral Microbiology.

Roger Simm har publisert to atrikler - "Benzyl alcohol induces a reversible fragmentation of the Golgi apparatus and inhibits membrane trafficking between endosomes and the trans-Golgi network." i Experimental Cell Research, og "The putative drug efflux systems of the Bacillus cereus Group" i Plos One.

Artikkelen "Influence of the Apical Preparation Size and the Irrigant Type on bacterial Reduction in Root Canal–treated Teeth with Apical Periodontitis" er et samarbeid mellom forskere fra IOB, IKO, professor Siqueira i Brazil, og Ibrahimu Mdala, tidligere stipendiat ved IOB.
