The NOF-IADR Hatton Award is presented annually by the Nordic Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and recognizes outstanding research conducted by early-career scientists in the field of dental and oral health. Candidates are evaluated based on scientific quality, originality, and presentation, as well as their ability to respond to scientific questions from a review panel.

As part of the award, Shawrob receives a €1000 stipend and will go on to represent the Nordic Division in the international IADR Hatton Awards Competition in 2026. Travel and participation costs for the international competition will be covered by the organizers.
