While the original plan was a relaxed outing to Gressholmen, the Norwegian summer had other ideas — with heavy rain and a warning for intense lightning, island hopping was quickly ruled out.
Instead, we enjoyed a cosy and cheerful lunch indoors at Pizza Restaurant Vesuvio – Vista Mare, with warm pizza, good conversation, and a stunning view of the storm rolling over the Oslofjord. The change in weather didn’t dampen the mood, and in true Scandinavian spirit, the bravest among us even ventured out for ice cream in the rain!
It also marked the last day of Probal's MSCA fellowship, and we wish him all the best on his next journey.
