Last week, Torben and Liebert got to do exactly that during their visit to the MOGNO micro- and nanotomography beamline in Brazil—a remarkable facility that unveils hidden features at exceptionally high resolution.

We are thrilled that our team has been awarded a HALRIC pilot project focusing on state-of-the-art X-ray imaging methods for dental and orthopaedic applications. By combining contrast-enhanced micro-CT with advanced synchrotron techniques—such as phase-contrast imaging and X-ray fluorescence mapping—we aim to refine imaging protocols for hard-to-visualize cellular structures in bones, teeth and associated soft tissues.
