Gas Chromatography

Gas chromatography (GC) is used for separating and analyzing organic compounds that are volatile. A gas chromatograph consists of a flowing mobile phase, an injection port, a separation column containing the stationary phase, a detector, and a data recording system. Our GC is equipped with special made column and sample injection system for measurements of large air samples taken directly from the mouth and measure Volatile sulfur compounds (VSC) in the mouth air. This specialized GC is the best tool for the halitosis research and diagnosis.
